Lazy Chao Gardening

Raising Chao is normally a time-consuming endeavor involving tons of repetition. Thankfully there are ways to speed this up using glitches and even mods (if you don't want to use either... good luck!). Here's some ways to speed up Chao raising.

Infinite Rings

Take some items to sell to the Black Market. I recommend the Bucket, as you can sell it for 1500 rings and stack up multiple in the garden. If you have mods, generate a shiny two-tone Black egg and then sell the eggshell for 15,000 rings. Open up the menu and go to Options & Settings, then control. Either switch the stereo setting or the vibrate. You will see that it says 'saving' in the upper right corner. Turn off the game. DO NOT SAVE! Turn the game on again. You will see your rings have gone up, but the items are still there.

Get Animals Easily

Don't bother trying to get the rare mythical creatures, and don't get the blue ones either. When it comes to evolution, all that matters is animal type. As such, if you want to maximize Swimming, give it swimming animals. You can look up the quickest locations to get each animal here.

Infinite Chaos Drives/Animals

In the vanilla game, get your chaos drive or animal and place it in front of the Chao. If done correctly, the Chao will level up but the animal can be used.

If you have mods enabled, you can just turn on reusable chaos drives/animals so you don't have to worry about doing the glitch incorrectly.

Raise stamina quickly

If you have mods enabled, use the red mushroom to raise their stamina stat dramatically.
