Want to level up your Chao quickly but hate looking up where the nearest running or power animal is? Here's a guide for the lazy Chao gardener to get an animal quickly and raise that stat quickly.

Flying

DARK: Dry Lagoon - Peacock

Swim: +1.2. Fly: +4.8. Run: -1.6. Power: -1.2. Behavior: Chao lies down and poses

• Found in the opening level near a palm tree

• Found at part 2 near one of the big stone boxes

Swimming

DARK: Dry Lagoon - Otter

Swim: +4.4. Fly: -0.4. Run: +0.8. Power: -1.6

• Found underwater near the statue

• Found underwater near the 3 faces

Running

DARK: Radical Highway - Boar

• when dropped from the sky, on top of the roof of the toll (before the checkpoint and the 'chaos soda' ad)

DARK: Radical Highway - Cheetah

• found on the gate at the end of one of the highways

• in the second chao box

• near the Rose Closed Ahead sign

Power

DARK: Iron Gate - Gorilla

• in the room with the first chao box, near the elevator

• found in the room before you get the special cannons, in a corner

DARK: Iron Gate - Leopard

• in a pipe after the room where you get the special cannons

• found running around before the level 4 security breach
