My Pokemon

Some Pokemon I've used long enough to consider an important part of that game's journey. These aren't necessarily the ones that I beat the Elite 4 with or the ones that I used the longest, but they are in some way memorable.

Pokemon Crystal (3DS)

My original Pokemon Crystal file was lost twice - once when I erased it as a kid to start a new save file, and the second time when the internal battery died. I no longer remember any of the Pokemon used in those runs except Feraligatr, Furret, and possibly Suicune and Skarmory. This new run has little in common with my original runs except for the Feraligatr. Nevertheless, I'm pretty happy with the team I put together. The Crobat, Arcanine, and Dragonair had to be trained to be up to level. The Arcanine was evolved just for the Elite 4. I was very lucky - just when I saw I didn't have the Fire Stone, Schoolkid Alan called me. My battle against Lance involved using Feraligatr's Ice Punch, Magneton's incredible defense, and, incredibly enough, Dragonair taking down Lance's final Pokemon - Aerodactyl - with back-to-back Dragon Rage. I hadn't gone into that run expecting to win, merely to level up my Pokemon, but I saw the opportunity.

This might have been around 2002-3? This is the oldest save file I have since I started a new Crystal game when I was a kid and the save battery for that file recently ran out.
